What To Do On Long Car Journeys!

It’s the holidays and people are going on holiday and that means sometimes you have to go on a long car journey. Everyone is different but I love car journeys and I think it’s because it gives me plenty of time to do things like listen to music which I enjoy very much. If you are someone who gets very bored on car journeys and they don’t have to be really long then here are some ideas for what to do!

1. Get Comfy!

If you are going on a long car journey especially in the morning or at night and if you wanna sleep then you should bring a blanket and some bed socks and get very comfy!

2. Listen To Music

Bring your phone or whatever you listen to your music on and also bring some headphones or earphones. Make sure you have all the music you want to listen to on your phone before you go whether that’s making a Spotify playlist or downloading the music.

3. Watch Films

This might be hard to do but if you have mobile data then you can watch a film on Netflix or you can just put a disc DVD into a laptop and bring it in the car with you. Some people have little TVs that attach to the back of the car seats. I used to have these.

4. Play Games

You could play games like I Spy or little games like that to pass the time. Also easy games that you can carry around with you like Top Trumps and we had tons of these when me and my sister were younger like High School Musical ones and Harry Potter ones and we would always bring them on holiday to pass time!

5. Snacks

Always bring snacks with you! If you get peckish in the car then it’s always good to have snacks and depending on how long you are in the car for you can always bring lunch or stop at a service station for food.

6. Read

Reading is a great way to pass the time and is good to do on car journeys if you get bored listening to music or any of the other activities.

Thankyou for reading, goodbye for now!

Wigan Haul!

I’ve recently gone into Wigan with my friend Meg and we like going to Wigan because there’s a good variety of shops but it’s one of them places that’s not really busy and fast pace like Manchester but I do prefer Manchester but it was too late for us to go into Manchester. I love getting trains to Wigan or Manchester as its so easy and it makes for such a good day out. This is only a little haul but I’m pleased with everything I bought in Wigan!

1. Starting off with the food and drinks, I bought some chips from McDonald’s and a small hot chocolate from Starbucks.

2. A pencil case. I bought this beautiful patterned pencil case for when I go back to school. It was from Whsmith and was quite pricey for a pencil case (£6.99) but it was the last one and I’d never seen it anywhere else and I just had to pick it up as its so pretty!

3. Piñta Colada Shower Gel and Body Sorbet. I went into The Body Shop and picked up a shower gel (£5) and body sorbet (£8) in their new gorgeous summery smelling scent which I’m in love with! The packaging is also so lovely!

4. A duvet cover! I bought this gorgeous duvet cover that’s blue and white and has the most lovely pattern and I’m in love! I bought it from Primark and it was only £9. I am having my room re done so my room will be neutral so I can have any duvet cover and I just loved this one. I can’t put a picture here because the duvet is in the wash but I will show the duvet on a blog post at some point.

5. A throw blanket. I bought a super soft cream blanket from Primark for £5 and it is super soft and I love it! Cream is neutral so I thought it would go with my room nicely.

This is the end of everything I bought and of course I bought my train ticket to Wigan and a return ticket.

Thankyou for everything, goodbye for now!
